Nihon

This collection is a quiet homage to my dad, who passed away some years ago. He spent a lot of time in Japan for work, and through him, I was lucky enough to travel to Sapporo more than once in my life. This collection is a way to honour those memories and his connection to a country he loved.

Beyond the personal connection, I have always been fascinated by Japanese design—its minimalism, its elegance, and the incredible care that is put into every detail. It's a philosophy that deeply resonates with my own approach to creating.

The pieces in the Nihon collection are inspired by symbols of nature that are important in Japanese culture, like clouds (Kumo), rain (Ame), water, and light. It also includes a special ring inspired by the city of Sapporo—a beautiful city close to the mountains that my dad often visited.
